Angie is a yoga and mindfulness teacher based in Chicago, Illinois. She has completed over 2000 training hours in yoga asana (movement + postures), pranayama (breath exercises)
and meditation and is a 500HR ERYT.
As a lifelong seeker, Angie continues to study and is influenced by a mixture of yoga philosophies including the Krishnamacharya lineage and the Tantra. She has studied with a
variety of master teachers and is inspired not only by yoga but other movement and healing modalities.
Angie was introduced to yoga as a 16 year old in gym class and her early home practices consisted of Rodney Yee VHS tapes. Little did she know that this requirement for
physical fitness would develop into a passion for this healing tradition. Yoga has helped Angie overcome body image issues, develop confidence as a business owner,
relieve stress and anxiety issues, prevent migraines and, simply put, be a better human being.
Her teaching style is blended from years of movement and exploration. She serves her students by teaching to the audience at hand and letting go of her own agenda. She
loves offering powerful and thoughtful Vinyasa flow just as much as she loves sharing more gentle, yet still breath centric, classes. Angie believes that in yoga there
is no right or wrong. There is what is right for you and for your body. So while she is an anatomy and biomechanics geek, she empowers students to move in a way that
honors their unique needs in an effort to heal and balance. She also believes that there is power in recognizing that we are multi-dimensional beings and her classes
dive deeper than the physical layer encouraging self-inquiry and exploration in a safe space.
Currently, Angie teaches group yoga, meditation and mindfulness classes, private sessions, workshops and 200HR teacher trainings in Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI. In addition,
Angie provides mentorship and coaching focused on living a better life off the mat.
Whether a group class, private session, workshop, teacher training or coaching session, Angie's goal for her clients is always the same - that they leave feeling nourished,
light and happy.
